From Orlando, Florida, it usually takes us about nine to ten hours to reach the cabins.  I suggest that you plan your arrival time to be during daylight hours.  It makes finding the land sites easier.  I have only had one person who was unable to find it.  He was an airline pilot!

The cabins are located about 15 minutes from the nearest town of Blue Ridge.  They are between Blue Ridge and Blairsville, in North Georgia, on Highway 76, about 15 miles south of where the Tennessee and North Carolina borders butt together with Georgia.

DIRECTIONS FROM ATLANTA TO THE CABINS

Take I-75 out of Atlanta.  Exit 268, sign says-- North 5 and 575 Canton.  Highway 575 ends, and Becomes Highway 5.  Highway 5 eventually turns into Highway 76.  Keep traveling until you come to the town of Blue Ridge.  Do not go into the business part of town.  Follow 76 around to the outskirts.  You will come to a McDonalds.  Look at the odometer, and about 6.3 miles from McDonalds is Loving Road. Turn Left.  Set back in off the road on the corner will be an old gas station that is not selling gas anymore, but an auto repair place. The next sites will all be on the right.  From the old gas station you will pass New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and then a small lake.  From the old gas station, approximately 3.4 miles is a 2’ x  2’  painted sign, close to the ground.  It says, Maple Grove Church.”  There also might be a street sign saying. Maple Grove Road.  Sometimes the locals take it down-they do not like change.  Turn right here.  Continue on this road for about 1.8 miles.  You will come to a group of mailboxes on the right side.  The one on the end says 77 Heaven Scent Rd.  On the left, across from the mailboxes there should be a sign saying TOCCOA FARM ROAD.  Turn left here.  You are now on a dirt road.  Continue on the dirt road and you will see address 152 with an American Flag, and a horse coral.  The road will turn left, and at that turn will be a “Private Dr” sign, saying 200 and 204.  You will turn left.  Continue on the dirt road and you will pass a log cabin with a red door and a trellis around the bottom.  Take a Sharp turn to the right.  There will be a beautiful horse pasture on your left with a Red Barn, address 431.  Continue, and you will see, all on the right side, some chicken houses, and vegetable gardens.  The horse pasture will end and the brush becomes denser. You are now on Heaven Scent Road.  There should be a street sign, but sometimes the brush covers it.  You’re almost there!!  You will see a green electric box on the ground ahead of you, and our driveway is on the left.  You have made it to Cabin #1!!   77Heaven Scent Rd.

If you are staying at Cabin #2, stay on HEAVEN SCENT RD. until you cross the creek.  Go around the curve and the next road on the right is the driveway to cabin #2.  You will see a sign for 156. You are there!  Enjoy, and make wonderful memories!
